Problem Statment

Improve crime management by adopting new policies and by adopting different ways to increase the efficiency of the workforce with proper use of technology.

Introduction

The crime reporting portal is an initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under the National Mission for the safety of all citizens to facilitate victims/complaints to report crime complaints online.

This portal is an initiative of the Government of India to facilitate victims/complaints to REPORT CRIME complaints online. Our website is offering crime reporting, traffic updates, information about traffic signs, traffic offenses, information about traffic notices and payment, road safety, information about the nearest location based on geolocation, distress calls related to women's safety, lost/found report, missing person report, etc.

Approach and Features

We selected this topic as we need to create awareness and reduced the burden on our police department. Our approach is to solve the multiple issues faced day to day by our officers-:

1)To digitalize the FIR lodging process to make it convenient for both the citizens and police officers.

2)Live tracking of traffic to avoid any accidents.

3)Helpline number for women's safety.

4)Blogs for creating social awareness in society.

5)Citizens can freely criticize if any officer misbehaves with them.
